In August 2018, Mark Madafferi established the firm of Christopher William Legal. Prior to establishing Christopher William Legal, Mark’s career commenced in 1980 with the legal firm F. G. Astuto & Associates in Moonee Ponds.
Initially practising in the areas of Workers Compensation, Common Law, Litigation, Criminal Law, Family Law and Conveyancing. Mark quickly expanded the practice to include Commercial and Civil Litigation, Business Restructuring (including Insolvencies).
For the past 15 years, Mark has added to the practice an efficient property practice acting for both Purchasers and Vendors and worked with the diverse group raising money for film investments, seed capital, for new ventures and finally raising capital for public.
In 1989 Cosimo Chiodo and Mark Madafferi established as Chiodo Madafferi Solicitors in North Melbourne.
In August 2017 Mark has worked to reshape the firm in his own image after the death of his Partner. The focus of Christopher William Legal has been and will continue to be in the areas of Commercial Law, Property Law and raising capital for small and emerging businesses.

Mark is a graduate from Monash University.
Bronwyn has a wealth of legal experience as both litigator and commercial adviser. She is a second-generation lawyer who followed her father into legal practice initially at the firm of Goddard Elliot base in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. In 1999, Bronwyn joined a boutique commercial legal practice based in Melbourne CBD and has since worked in the city and in South Melbourne.
Bronwyn appears regularly as an advocate for her clients in various Courts and Tribunals across Victoria. She is equally at home in boardrooms negotiating the finer points of a deal or drafting commercial agreements. Bronwyn is a practical thinker who always keeps her clients’ best commercial and legal interests in mind.
Bronwyn’s main areas of practise are commercial litigation, general commercial and property advice including structuring and asset protection. Bronwyn has also developed an expertise in relation to estate planning and the administration of deceased estates.
Bronwyn is an Honours Graduate of Monash University.
